Jeffrey Reddick

Jeffrey Reddick

Writer/Director

Jeffrey Reddick is an American screenwriter and film director, best known for creating the Final Destination franchise.

When Reddick was fourteen, he wrote a ten-page treatment of a prequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street and sent it to New Line Cinema. The studio did not accept unsolicited material, and it was returned unread. Reddick proceeded to contact studio founder Robert Shaye and asked him to read the treatment. Shaye read it and responded. This was the beginning of a letter-and-phone relationship with Shaye and his assistant that lasted for years. While in college, Jeffrey landed an internship at New Line and worked for the studio for almost eleven years. He made his directorial debut with his mystery thriller Don’t Look Back in 2020.

Gabe Moreno

Gabe Moreno

The Phantom Ship

Hi! My name is Gabe Moreno and I’m an animation graduate from Loyola Marymount University. Originally from Miami, Florida, I knew for college I’d want to move to California to pursue film, whether that be animated or live action. I always loved creating artwork and that was what led me to get into filmmaking. I wanted to take art to the next level. Since I was young, I always had a fascination for things that were scary. Why? I couldn’t say but it did weirdly comfort me. As I grew up and fell in love with watching horror movies, I knew I’d want to make my own and I’d want to make them my way. After I came out as queer, I learned a lot about how queer the horror genre was and wondered if somehow, that must’ve been why I loved it so much and felt comforted in a weird way by it.
